The Aggies have been invited to play in the Idaho Potato Bowl against Ohio on December 17th @ 3:30pm! I dont know either team's stats very well at all, but by looking at their winning and losing record for the season, I would say, and hope, that it will hopefully be a pretty good game! I do think we have a slightly upper edge though.....I am hoping and praying that our slightly colder weather here will help us out. Ohio isnt much different weather wise, but we have been about 10 degrees colder so maybe it will help us out. There was an article last week that the punter for Ohio was complaining about being invited to the Idaho Bowl because it was cold! What a winer! Let's send them packin' aggies!
Alright so all of this is very exciting, but probably not the most interesting thing to blog about, but the main reason I am blogging about it is because there is one part of the game I am excited about..............I GET TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being on SAA council is nothing but a joy with lots of perks! The alumni association is putting on the pre-game party and all that stuff, so being the student alumni, we got ok-ed to go and help be some man power! Yes, we will have to do some work, but WHO CARES! We get free hotel for 2 nights, free transportation, and free game tickets! Actually the only thing we have to pay for is two dinners worth! That is it!!!!!!! I am so freaking excited I can barely stand it. We leave Friday right after my last final and get to party all weekend! A whole weekend to be decked out in aggie gear, be with some of my favorite people, watch a sport I beyond enjoy, and cheer on and support the best college ever! Sounds like a sweet deal! I am soooooo excited I can barely stand it! LET'S GO AGGIES!!!!!
