Aggie Basketball

Today was a long, hard day, however I ended it off well with a trip to the Spectrum with my roommates and neighbors to watch a fabulous Aggie Basketball game!

This is Caitlin, Me, and Cherice looking fabulous in our Aggie gear and getting ready to cheer them on!!!

This is Kyle, Tarrin, Landon, and Cherice...again, getting ready to cheer on our Agg's!

Here are our awesome Aggies getting ready to kick some New Mexico State butt!!!

...And this is the Spectrum!!!!!! Tonight there were 10,000 people in attendance. It is one of the worst places to play games if you are the away team because we are brutal fans that are practically right on top of the court! The students literally take up half of the stadium (the picture only shows half of the student section) and it turns into about one of the loudest places ever!!!!! I believe we are ranked in the top 3 loudest college sporting places in the country......that is what I have heard, so don't quote me on that, but I would believe it! It is sooooooooo much fun!!!!! Oh and by the way.......we won tonight!

It was a great night! I just got to chill with my friends and have a good time screaming my lungs out! If you have never been to a Spectrum game....I would definitely put it on your list of things to do before you die!

Well I am out.......TOOTLES!!!!!

Day off!

I must say that I love long weekends, however, besides yesterday, this weekend was the most long and boring weekend I have ever had in my entire life! I seriously did nothing. I had a list to do and got it accomplished, but it didnt take long, and then I did NOTHING! Saturday, I swear, was a 48 hour day and then church dragged on FOREVER on Sunday.

On the plus side, I had no school yesterday due to the holiday, but luckily, yesterday was a lot of fun. I slept in and then went and ran my errands. I then came home where Caitlin, Saundra and I decided we needed an adventure because we were bored again. So we went to walmart for a few things. Then we went to Shopko, because they were having mega sales on everything, and we literally walked around the whole store just looking at stuff. We reflected back on our childhood as we walked up the Barbie isle and everything. It was pretty funny!!!! Saundra found a sling shot chicken, so we had way too much with that! Then we went to Borders and looked around! It was great! We then took her car and ran over mounds of snow! Don't ask me why because it was the 3 of us, so I couldn't really tell ya!

We then later made funfetti snickerdoodle cookies for FHE! We called them our freak cookies....and they tasted wonderful. Then later we went to FHE and just had a good time with the ward fam! It was a good day yesterday and it was nice to have to do anything, but I will admit I am glad that I have school and stuff to keep me busy or I might go crazy!

Well I better go.......TOOTLES!!!!

Spring Semester

I had a quick minute so I thought I would update everyone about Spring Semester 2011. IT IS FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am taking ECON 1500, clothing production and principles, business communications, ballet, cello lessons and orchestra! It's a bit of a smaller schedule but that is ok. I dont know how ballet will be cause we havent done anything in it yet, and orchestra starts tonight, but so far everything rocks!!!!!! I thought econ was going to suck, but I have an awesome teacher, and understandable textbook and a good class. Sewing.......well it's sewing so it is already amazing and business communications is pretty sweet!!!!!!! I was really surprised but I think I am really going to like that class. The teacher seems like a lot of fun and the class is small and everyone just seems way super nice! I really think I may have found my calling in life haha. I will probably wait for the semester to finish so I can see how I like business class, but I am pretty sure this is the route I am going to take in life! It may change, but for now I really like the idea of it. And on top of it being fun, it is a good safety net degree to have as well. I could also stick myself in a lot of different places with a business degree!

Well I better go. I need to do a few things........TOOTLES!!!!!

Great Way to End the Break

So the end of my last week of freedom was fabulous!!!! Friday was awesome!!!!! I got to spend the afternoon with Kathryn!!!!! We really did not even do much, but it was still really fun! We went shopping for food, had pasta, went on a ruler hunt, and walked around Gardner Village! So Fun!!!

It was also mom's birthday so me and Jeff took her out for her birthday. We got her tickets to the Utah Symphony for Christmas, but the concert was on her birthday. We took her to Red Rock for dinner, which is some amazing food by the way. Then after we headed over to Abravanel Hall for a fabulous concert. The program was Mozart's Symphony No. 1, which was amazing. The main piece however was Barber's Violin Concerto. They brought in a soloist for it and it was amazing!!!!!!! I could have listened for hours! After that they also performed a new 20th century piece. I was a little afraid to stay and listen to it at first, however it was amazing!!!!!! It was list Holst's Jupiter meets super new and modern. It was way way way way cool!!!!! Such a fun night

Then on Saturday we were celebrating mom's birthday with the family, so we got the house all ready for that! The party was a lot of fun too! We had me, mom, Jeff, Gary, Josh, Brennen, Uncle Joel, Hudson, Madi, Jordan and Grandma and Grandpa all there! We just ate some dinner and opened presents and had some Schmidt's cake!!!! Such a great day. Then after that Me and Caitlin headed back up to Logan!

Now we are all back up in Logan and loving it!!!!!!!!! We went to church today and then just unpacked. Now we are just getting some stuff ready for tomorrow! I can't believe I start spring semester tomorrow. I hope everything goes really well and that I can do much better this semester! Last semester went really well, but I can do a lot better! Study habits are going to be better. Note taking is going to be more effective and everything is just going to be better!!!! I am way excited!!!!

Well for now I need to finish getting ready for school tomorrow. Wish me luck....TOOTLES!!!

Date Night!!!!!!!!!!

So today has been a TON of fun!!!!! I was just sitting and practicing my cello this morning and I got a call from one of my good friends Scott! Scott actually went to Copper Hills, but I knew him from band/orchestra stuff and what not. He is such a cute kid and is so nice and actually always wanted to go out with him, but I could never get the courage to ask him out.

But this morning while I was practicing, I got a call from him and he asked me out on a date!!!!!!! I would like to note that I am moving up the dating ladder....I have now been asked out on 2 dates! Yup that is right.....count them....2 hahahaha! But anyway.....So he and I doubled with his best friend Adam his date Jessica. Well Jessica lives out in Tooele, so we headed out there. When we got to her house and I finally found out what we were doing. Hahahaha.....we were going to write and draw a children's book. I had no idea how it was going to pan out, but it was a lot of fun! We flipped through a dictionary and founds some outrageous words and we began our story.

Our story ended up being called Peter the Pluripotent Pony. It was all about this pony who did not know what to do with his life and he comes across "L", which is literally the letter L. Then he comes across Manuel the Comandell, which is a Black wood tree that you find in India. The tree, which we turned into a gangster, then gives him advice and then Peter ends up becoming "L's" financial adviser. It sounds ridiculous, but it is the funniest story ever and I have never laughed so hard before in my life. On top of that we made pizza and then watched part of a movie. Then Jessica had to do some stuff, so me, Scott, and Adam headed back and they decided to introduce me to the most amazing ice cream ever....Winder's Dairy Farm Fruit Loop flavored ice cream. It was really yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh p.s. if you want to see the story, i am hoping it should be up on facebook soon lol!

It was sooooooo much fun!!!!! I have not been in a date since school started and it was just so much fun to get out of the house and see an old friend and just have a good time!!!!! And the rest of the week is going to be great and then I get to head back up to school on saturday! Oh what a great week! Well I am kind of tired and I really want to go read so I am out.......TOOTLES!!!!

New Years Tradition and Ballet

Ok.....so it feels weird not to blog everyday. I am so use to it. No blogging so far has made me feel like I am forgetting something haha. Strange, I know.....but true! Nothing has gone on much since this new year has started, but so far so good.

Bowling was way fun with everyone last Friday and so was mine and Kathryn's Annual New Years Eve Adventures!!!!! I am so glad we have that tradition. In all reality it is probably pretty lame to most people other than us. We have had other friends come in previous years and they have never returned with us hahahaha! It is still a lot of fun though, especially since we don't see each other that much anymore! Nothing like some good food, riding the trax, freezing weather, maracas, cheesy music, sexy Polynesian dancers (doing the Haka non the less), fireworks, and just chillin!!!!! AWESOME night!!!!

On top of that I have some other good news......I got into my ballet class at school! I know....me and and ballet really don't go in the same sentence, but it sounded fun and I wanted to try something new. I have always thought ballet was so cool and it is beautiful to watch! I always loved taking field trips to the ballet when I was little! The dancers were always beautiful and extremely graceful and on top of that the costumes and music are amazing! I know it's just a beginning class, but I've always wanted to learn it and now I finally get to. And beyond that I may have use for my Halloween Tutu now!!!!!!

Beyond that nothing much is going on. I have Saturday night and then I head back up to school! I am sooooo excited and ready to go back up, but it also bums me out a little at the same time, but I am ready to go!!!! Well I better go....I will keep you updated on the whole ballet situation......TOOTLES!!!!
