Sledding!!!

So yesterday after school, we realized oh my chicken.....IT'S FRIDAY!!!! The real kicker was that we also realized that we were bored and had nothing to do.....bummer right? Well Saundra is a genius!!!! She is a big sledder and she hadn't gone once since we had been up here and since me, Saundra and Maren were the only ones home, we decided what the heck....Let's go sledding!!!!
Well on top of that I was also texting my friend Tucker and asked if he and our friend Logan wanted to go and they were up for it, so we took our little selves on a little adventure last night!!!!

I have not been sledding since I was probably 14 or 15 and I must say that it was a blast! When Caitlin and I were out exploring a few weeks ago we came across this awesome park that had the most perfect sledding hills, so we headed there. I seriously have not laughed that hard in a long time! Between Saundra looking awesome in her crazy sledding outfit, Logan "breaking" his butt, Logan karate sledding tucker, Maren and I being unable to steer, some sweet jumps, some awesome crashes, and so much more, last night was a BLAST!!!!

Needless to say these are just action shots. I should have gotten a lot more of us just screwing around cause it was loads of fun! The snow was pretty much ice, so this will not be the last of our sledding adventures, but I must say when we go again we definitely need to go at night because that made it that much more fun! Partially because we couldnt see everything going down, so we hit some awesome bumps, and because we were the ONLY ones at the park! It was such a fun time and I can't wait until we hit the "slopes" again!!!!!

Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day is not one of my favorite holidays......actually it is probably my least favorite holiday, however, this year, Valentine's Day proved to be pretty good. On top of my classes going well, playing Human Foosball at FHE, talking to some friends, and Logan, from upstairs, bringing us delicious chocolate chip cookies....we decided to have roommate dinner!!! We don't do this very often because it is hard to have everyone home and it's a lot of work to cook for 6, but Cherice thought it would be fun to do for a fun little Valentine's Day treat, so her and I cooked up a little dinner for everyone!!!!

Cherice made lasagna, which was beyond delicious, I made homemade garlic bread and then we had salad and Kool-aid! It was delicious and it was fun just to sit around and talk with all my roommies for a few!

It was a pretty good Valentine's Day and as much as it is a "S.A.D" day, it turned out to be a good day! I realized that Valentine's Day is not about having a significant other, as nice as that may be, but celebrating those you love in your life. So to my family, friends, roommates, neighbors, and anyone else who I know and love...HAPPY VALENTINE'S!!!

Zumba

So Cherice and I went to Zumba tonight. Zumba is this big dance workout thing that is, apparently, sweeping the nation. Through the fun and fit pass at school there are several workouts you can do throughout the week and we though we'd try out Zumba tonight!



Surprisingly it was a lot of fun and a good workout too. There were some serious dance moves that were pretty funny to try and figure out. The class was fun and it is a great way to burn a few extra calories and get out. On top of that I found out, through the moves that we did, that I am very, very, very, very white. I cannot move my hips or shake it like that very well at all, but it was still fun non the less!

Well it is time for bed, I am one exhausted student......TOOTLES!!!!
