Day 151: Not Much

Not much as gone on today. I was out at my dad's this weekend which was fun, but as for today I woke up and then since I had nothing to do I some how ended up taking a 2 hour nap, then I went to my great grandma's for lunch, then we went back home and then we went and saw Iron Man 2!!!!! Not an overly exciting day, but it was fun to hang out with my family for a while and on top of that I got to go see Iron Man which was awesome!!!!!!! I love Robert Downey Jr. He is........well, amazing!!!!! He is a great actor and a sexy one at that! Well I am tired so I am heading to bed......TOOTLES!!!!

Day 150: Quick

I am heading out to my grandma's for dinner tonight. We are doing hamburgers, salad, watermelon, and texas sheet cake for dessert!!!!!!! YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then after I am going out to my dad's for the rest of the weekend!!!! Alrighty I am out........TOOTLES!!!!!

Day 149: Like Father, Like Son

Okay so I knew my brother was a lot like my dad, but each day that goes on, they get more and more a like! Here is just some of the things that make them so similar:

1. They both love to sing crazy and make up songs of their own
2. Physically Jeff looks like dad more and more. His hair gets darker, he gets taller and his shoulders get wider just like dad's
3. They are both extremely stubborn and hard working
4. They talk a lot a like
5. They both like math.......weird I know. I don't know how I am related to either of them
6. There is so much more, but the most recent thing that makes them so similar is their hobbies!

Ever since I have remembered, my dad has always been into wood working. I would wake up Saturday mornings and he would always be watching Norm or Home Time and guess what......jeff is now doing the same thing!!!!!! However this hobby of theirs became extremely apparent yesterday.
This year in school, Jeff took a wood shop class and for first semester he brought home a blanket chest, which is amazing!!!! He did an amazing job on it! It is flawless and the oak he used is way pretty!


Well yesterday, Jeff brought home his second woods project......his entertainment center!!!!!





It is GORGEOUS!!!!!! He did such an amazing job on it!!!!! It looks sooooo good sitting in the living room and guess what.....it looks a lot like dad's work too!!!! They are too similar haha! Even while setting it up, the words that came out of my brother's mouth sounded exactly like my dad too (and for those of you who know my dad, you know what I mean hahahahahaha)!!!! It looks soooooooo good and I am so glad Jeff decided to take woods this year! Just so you can see how similar my brother and dad are, here is some of my dad's work as well!

Jeff did use a lot of the same technique and stuff so that the entertainment center could match the kitchen that dad built. But as you can see their work is very similar and it is funny to here Jeff talk "wood," because he sounds just like my dad too! Even walking in to home depot yesterday with Jeff made me realize he is a lot like my dad! I love these two guys to death and I don't know what I would do without them!!!!! Thanks boys for your sharing your awesome skills!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Day 148: Just Another Day

Today has been just another day! Nothing has gone on, although was my last official day of high school ever!!!!!!!! That is freaking me out!!!!!!!! It is just all so crazy. Everything has happened so fast, it is just all so crazy! I don't have much to say today though. I will say however, that I am loving this weather! The temp. is perfect and I LOVE all the overcast!!!!! I've got to run to home depot and I have nothing else to say so I am out.........TOOTLES!!!!!!!!

Day 147: Reality Check

Not much going on today! I went to school, FINISHED MY ARRANGEMENT and started putting it into the computer program thing, sewed some, went and got stuff for banquet and now I am sitting here blogging. I have orchestra banquet tonight so I figured I would blog really quick so I don't forget tonight when I get home. I am so sad that orchestra banquet is tonight, I mean I LOVE banquet, but when we have banquet that means it is all over......and this year it REALLY is ALL over. What a reality check! I love my orchestra family more than life itself! I have had such an amazing three years with them and met some of the most amazing people!!!!!!!
On top of that hitting me, today at school we got our caps and gowns for graduation......CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I have sitting in my closet a cap and gown to graduate in.....now if that is not a reality check, I don't know what is! It is soooooo super exciting, yet soooooooo super sad. I am going to miss all my friends sooooooooo much. I don't think I am quite ready to grow up, but I guess I don't have much of a choice.....oh well, it had to come sometime! Well I guess I am going to go get ready for banquet tonight.........TOOTLES!!!!

Day 146: Bad to Better

Today went from bad to better. I started out my day by having a yelling match with my mother when I got to school....yeah that was no fun. This week has sucked for both of us, so once one of us started yelling, we both went at it to let out all that built up frustration, but we were fine after and we both felt better too....so that was good.
I had my english presentation which also went over pretty well.......I think! The people in my class seemed to really like it so fingers crossed. After that my day got better little by little. I then went to work, ran to target and then me and my friend Alex went to the band concert, which actually was pretty good!
Percussion ensemble sounded amazing. Mat did a solo and it was AMAZING!!!!! I have never seen anyone's hands move so fast before.......IT WAS SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!
Then after the lovely concert, band apparently goes to Leatherby's after to celebrate like we go to Artic Circle, so we went and I hung out with some friends, ate ice cream and chilled!
The one thing I have discovered though is that ice cream and hyper friends at 10:30pm is probably not the wisest idea because now I am wired, so until I hit a brick wall, I am going to go finish up my arrangement for theory.......9 MEASURES LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I am off.......TOOTLES!!!!!!!

Day 145: The Big Question

Today has been rather good, although slightly confusing. The big question is am I seeing what is actually happening or am I seeing what I want to actual happen......that is the big question for today! If anyone would like to let me know that answer or solve all my problems, that would be great and I would probably bake you a cake as well.......just saying ;D
Well tonight I have Night of the Arts at Copper Hills. It is a night with a theme, this years theme is West Side Story, and then all the arts programs like orchestra, band, choir, drama, dance, visual arts and every art you can think of all puts on this big show. For orchestra we are playing America from West Side Story, which might just turn out pretty good. We are wearing our blacks, but guys are wearing red ties and girls are wearing red jewelry and hair pieces to spice it up a little and give it some latin flavor!
Well I am going to go finish my homework......peace out homies........TOOTLES!!!!!

Day 144: Bachelorette and Homework

It has been just another day. Nothing exciting happened. I went to school, I went to work, I came home and did homework, that I am still working on, and now I am also watching the series premiere of The Bachelorette! Yes.......I know it is sad, but I am just too hooked on the show......it is super addicting!!!! This years Bachelorette is Ali, who left Jake last year so that she could keep her job, however to do the show this season, she left her job and sold her apartment....slightly ironic if you ask me!

I think it will be a good season.....well I hope it will be a good season. So far the 25 men are looking pretty good....well most of them are at least, so we will see how this season goes! As for now I am going to go finish my homework, which is a power point presentation for my english presentation. It is on weight issues in the fashion industry and it has really been interesting to deeply research. Yes we all know there are big weight issues in the industry, however I have never REALLY researched, so it has turned out interesting. Well I am going to go finish it.......TOOTLES!!!!!

Day 143: Nothing To Say

I have nothing much to say today. Nothing has really gone on. I just went to church and came home and chilled. I know.....super exciting, right? Well since I don't have anything to say tonight I am going to head. I'll post more tomorrow...........TOOTLES!!!!!!

Day 142: Senior Dinner Dance

Okay so I know tonight's post is really long, but bare with me.....I'm sorry, last night was so fun and since I have time I will write about it! IT WAS SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!
So I got ready around three and then all the girls met up at my house to head down to trax so we could go downtown! Senior Dinner Dance was at the Union Pacific State down in the Gateway, so we figured trax was the easiest way to get down there!
So we got down there and got dinner which was a big pasta bar thing with salad and dessert and it was pretty good too. Then they handed out senior awards like most likely to find the cure for cancer, most likely to become a model, most likely to marry your high school sweetheart and things like that! I had a couple friends get some and for most of the categories, the people that won fit the awards.....it will be fun to see in a few years where everyone is at with stuff like that!
Well after that we got the party started! We had a couple hours to dance and chill with friends, which was really fun! I will admit, the whole thing was slightly over rated and not quite worth the $35 I paid, but I still had a good time! I just got to chill, I took a ton of pictures and I got to talk to Mat for a little while and can I just say.....he is sooooo much fun to talk to! It isn't awkward and he actually listens and it is just fun ;D
Well so after wards our SBO and Class Presidents said a few words then we started our hugs and stuff and the water works began. I didn't think I was going to cry but I saw my friend Ang crying and I lost it. I was a mess and even the big, strong, tough guys of the class were a mess, but it was good cuz we got it all out and said what needed to be said.
Then when we stepped out the door to leave, it was POURING rain and we had all gotten to the point where we didn't care, so we took off our shoes and in our formals and such, stepped out in that rain and jumped in puddles and ran across the street and had a blast!!!!!!!!
Last night was sooooooo much fun!!!!! I can't believe it is all over in a week and a half, but I will not dwell on that now, so here are some pictures from last night!

Day 141: Will Tell Later

So today was great! Tonight was Senior Dinner Dance and it was pretty fun! I am pretty tired though so I will post pictures and write about it all tomorrow! As for now I would just like to say that I have the greatest friends in the whole wide world and I don't know how I am going to make it through banquet and graduation in the next week in a half! Well I am off..........TOOTLES!

Day 140: The last One

So today was a super great day! Everything went well today and I had some good laughs as well! On top of that I also got to feel cute boy's arm muscles today.....I knew there was a reason I liked his arms......THEY ARE HUGE! I about died when I felt them, they are honestly the biggest muscles I have ever seen and I am not joking at all!!!!! But the best part of today was that today was our spring orchestra concert! I am mean it is sooooooo much fun to play but it is super sad it is over! I am totally bummed that it is over! I feel like I just started! Ahhhhhhh it is not fair....why did it have to go so quick?!?!?!?!?! But tonight was great and I have never felt better playing then I did tonight! Everything went great and it was the best we had ever sounded! On top of that cute boy is in guitar so I got to see him all dressed up (OH. MY. CHICKEN!) and also Mat came tonight too so I got to see both, but oh it gets better!
So our tradition, after every concert, is to go to Arctic Circle and chill with everyone for a while! Well neither Mat or Cameron, who is cute boy by the way, were going to come, but I talked Mat into it and then we are sitting in the arctic circle and Cameron walks in! WHAT THE CHICKEN AND RICE?!?!?!? So I went from having no cute boys coming to both of the cute boys coming and sitting next to me, how does that work? Not that I am complaining at all cuz I don't mind at all, but I will admit, it is hard to flirt with two guys at the same time......my goodness gracious! But it was still a ton of fun and we always have a good time as an orchestra family just chilling!
I am really bummed that it was my last concert though. I have one more thing we have to play at Copper Hills, but I'm not really counting that. I am just so sad it is all over and I am just starting to make more friends and become closer to people too, two of which are the two cute boys........I mean seriously, with two weeks left, now this happens?!?!? NOT COOL!
But today was just great and I cannot even tell you how much I am going to miss orchestra and the amazing people in it. They truly have become my family. We even treat and tease each other like siblings....it's great!!!!! I will miss is so much!
Well I need to head off to bed cuz it is late and I have school and senior dinner dance tomorrow so I need my beauty sleep lol..........TOOTLES!!!!

Day 139: Stuck In A Rut

I am stuck.......stuck in a rut! I can't bring myself to do anything productive. I have an anatomy test tomorrow and what I am doing, sitting on the computer. I looked at my notes for an hour and still nothing! I also should be working on my english presentation for next week, but yet again I am doing nothing! I hate that graduation is so close because it is killing me.
Although on the plus side of today, I started my arrangement for AP Theory. Our last assignment is to take a 32 measure melody and arrange it for 5 different parts, which I am rather excited for even though it is going to take some serious time and thinking. Well I started on that today and I got a few things written down. I have decided to take Elgar's cello concerto in e minor and arrange it for jazz band.....I'm super excited. I am writing it for piano, bass, drum set, tenor sax and trumpet. It is going to sound awesome and as for today I got my first 6 measures for the piano and arranged it in the same key however I partially augmented it and put in a six four time. What a strange thing to do, but hey, it works and I think it is going to end up awesome! I know 6 measures doesn't sound like a lot, but for composing, it is a big step in the right direction.
Well I am going to go try and study.........TOOTLES!!!!

Day 138: Cords Night

So today was a good day although after yesterday, today was like my hangover day. You know when you drink a Dr. Pepper and you have that super caffeine high and then a few hours later you are still in a good mood, but you are super tired......yup that was my day! I had such a good day yesterday that today turned into my hangover day! It was still a great day, I just had a bit of a hangover.
But as for today, I did council interviews, I went to school, I went to work and I came home and took a 5 minute nap and went back to school.
Tonight was the Pathway Cords Presentation night. At school we have these things called pathways which is where you have a project that corresponds with the pathway you are in and you and you have to spend so many hours on it and do service and a whole bunch of stuff. If you complete your pathway project you receive a cord for graduation and and advanced diploma. It turned out to be really fun, but I made my dress for mine, so not a lot of extra work. I was in the Technology Pathway so now I have a lovely nice brown cord to wear for graduation!
Well I am going to head to bed...........TOOTLES!!!!!

Day 137: BEST DAY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

So today has been FANTASTIC!!!! So I started out my day with my last early morning symphonic rehearsal, which went pretty well and then I went back home to start off my day.
So today was the day that we were having our music therapy day in my AP Music Theory class. Well if you all remember that is the day where we were bringing all this breakfast food to eat and then listen to music to see how it "helps" our digestion. Well like I said in last night's blog, Mat was coming over to make breakfast with me.........and he did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be honest, all this week I was worried he had just said he wanted to come over, but that he really wasn't going to, but he did!!!!!!!!!! 8 o'clock AM hit and he was standing at my front door!!!!!!!
At first, I will admit, I think we were both thinking like what the heck did we do, cuz it was a little awkward to begin with, but then I turned on the radio and we started cooking and it was sooooooooo much fun!!!!!!!! I made German pancakes and he made crepes, which were delicious! It was just so fun to sit and talk and chill. We talked about all sorts of things like friends, dating, school, summer, college, plans in college, mission for him and the list just keeps going!!!! The cooler part was that he actually wanted to get know me. I have never had a guy ask me questions and want to get to know me better, it was so awesome!!!!! Not only did we talk, but we made a slight mess, laughed and he taught me how to flip crepes in the pan!!!! HA HA......I am now a crepe flipping pro!!!!
I just had so much fun today hanging out with him. I got to spend almost two hours with a cute guy, alone ;D and I got to know him better and just have fun! I seriously have never had that much fun with just a guy before! AHHHHHHHH It was just fantastic!!!!!!
Well after that this morning, we headed back to school so we could then eat the food that we had made, which was delicious, along with all the other food we had. We had waffles, eggs, juice, smoothies, berries, crepes, German pancakes and the list just keeps going!!!
Then later tonight, me and my family and my friends and their families were invited to the principles reception! It is a big dinner where all the outstanding and top seniors are invited for a dinner where they get to be awarded certain awards for their achievements in school. I was fortunate enough to walk out with the Jag Medallion and a top scholar award! I also had a lot of my friends awarded a ton of stuff too.........And Mat was there too all dressed up in his blacks ;D I am a fan!!!!
It was just a great morning and night and just a freaking, fantastic day all around!!!!!!!! I really can't get over how fun this morning was! I don't know exactly what to think about the whole thing, but as for now I loved it and had a great time with a great, kind, nice, sweet, funny, fun, talented, tall, brown haired, beyond cute guy! Today has been awesome, but as for now I am exhausted because I have been up since 4AM so I am going to bed now...........TOOTLES!!!!!!!!

Day 136: Sunday Adventure

So today was........surprising!!! I went to church and had some good lessons, then I came home and finished filling out my graduation stuff, now I only have to stuff a few more envelopes, get some stamps and send them off! I am super excited!!!!!
So after dinner, mom went on her regular walk and I continued to work on graduation stuff, well as I am sitting on the couch stuffing envelopes, mom text me to come outside. So I came out and sitting next to her was the cutest little dog I have ever seen, besides Trivil that is. I guess when she came home from her walk, this little dog just came up to mom and just wanted to be loved and petted. He was so cute. I think he was a little beagle mix and he was white and brown and super happy! He was super cute! Well I played with him for a little while, while mom tried to find somewhere to take him. Well it turns out that animal control is not on call on sundays.......lame. Well the super sad thing was, was because he was a fur dog, we couldn't keep him because of Jeff's allergies. I was super bummed cuz he was so sweet and so cute. So we took him out to the animal shelter and put him out in the little drop box thing that the shelter has that you can put the dogs in while there is no one there. It was good cuz there was a blanket and a light to keep him warm and everything! I am still worried about the little dog, but he looked like he will be ok! It just breaks my heart that we had to leave him there, but I know he will be safe, even though it breaks my heart!
On the plus side, I am super excited for tomorrow! Tomorrow is our music therapy day in AP music therapy, which means Mat is coming over to make breakfast with me in the morning!!!!! Super excited!!!!! I get to miss 5th period to have a cute boy come over, who WANTS to come over and make breakfast and chill for a few...........WOOT WOOT!!!!! There really is nothing to it or any background info that should be know, but I'll let ya know how it goes tomorrow, but as for now I am going to bed cuz I am exhausted and I have early morning rehearsal in the morning......TOOTLES!!!!!

Day 135: I Hate Wishful Thinking

Ok so today went in the exact opposite direction then I was hoping. I was planning on finishing all my english homework, paper and project included, sending out graduation announcements, filling out an application, and cleaning my room, but did that happen.......NO! Instead I spent the day laying out sod and putting in flowers at my grandma's, which took a whole lot longer than I was hoping, so I got nothing accomplished today! I am glad we got to help my grandparents and everything, but I got nothing done, which doesn't make me overly happy.....I am really kinda bummed. I was really hoping that since I have so much stuff going on this week, that I could get everything done today so I wouldn't have to stress this week, but that just isn't going to happen.......I hate wishful thinking.
As for tonight I am heading over to senior night at the SLCC Institute. It is where all the West Jordan seniors get to go and have dinner, a testimony meeting and play and hang out until midnight, I am kind of excited to see how it goes, but as for now I am going to go and finish getting ready.........TOOTLES!!!!

Day 134: Why Not?

Not much to report on today! I saw a heart sonagram, which was pretty darn cool! Oh and I got to watch Pride and Prejudice in first period today because we had a sub and he said we could go next door and watch the movie that Robertson's class was watching cuz we couldn't get into the library. It was wonderful!!!! Other than that, I pretty much did nothing.
As for the rest of my day, I am heading up to the U of U cuz I guess there is this big senior/institute party carnival thing. Kathryn is going and wanted someone to come with her so I said I'd go.....why not? Free food, a good time with my friend, and hot college, institute guys.......how can that not be a good time!?!?!?!?! Well I am going to go....I'll let ya know how tonight goes in tomorrow's post!!!!!! Talk to you all later............TOOTLES!!!!!!

Day 133: Watermelon

So nothing to exciting happened today. I sight read the Elgar cello concerto and I wanted to cry a little inside. In music you what are called clefs, which is kinda like the range you play in. Well as a cellist, I play in the bass clef, or the left hand of the piano. Well as a cellist we also play in tenor clef, which is just a 5th higher then base clef. Well when any cellist sees a treble clef, or the right hand in the piano, we all slightly want to cry. Well this cello concerto has 5 lines in bass clef, a few in tenor, but most of it is written in treble.......I want to cry!!!!!! However the piece is so amazing I am willing to spend a couple years on it to get all 4 movements down.....I WILL BE VICTORIOUS!!!!!!!
Other than that, nothing really went on except I got watermelon for dinner tonight!!!!!!!!! I love watermelon. I never have besides in the spring and I always forget how amazingly good it is!
Me and my two little cousins, Reilly and Madison, can down a watermelon like it is no body's business!!!!! I LOVE WATERMELON! I love fruit in general and you can find pretty good fruit all year round, but spring is when you can find the good watermelon!!! It is just so amazingly good. It is super sweet and, I would assume, it keeps you hydrated......it is just a win win fruit!!!! Even watermelon flavoring is pretty darn stinkin' good! It is a good flavoring to put snow cones, it is a good flavor of jelly bean and once I even found a watermelon flavored pudding and you want to know what.......it was pretty darn good!!!!

Day 132: Things learned and Pics

So here is what I learned today:
1. I don't like driving on the freeway between the hours of 12pm-6pm
2. I love playing human foos ball
3. My step mom is an amazing photographer
4. The ducks in my backyard are too fun to watch....its like a soap opera in the pond
5. I am ready for the weekend

Day 131: One Day

Today has been a pretty good day!!! Today I worked by fingers off in music independent study working on my Bach piece.....which felt great. Then in music theory.....we got a free day!!!!! We planned our music therapy day and some how during class the guys and girls split apart from each other and some how, don't ask me how, but the girls ended up talking about weddings. Strange, I know but it was kinda fun to talk about. We started talking about wedding colors and gowns and all that wedding stuff. I was going to post pictures of types of wedding dresses I want, but my computer won't load them....lame. But for wedding dress, I love lace gowns!!!!! I am not a lace person but I love lace gowns!!!!!!!!!!!! I think they are so elegant and beautiful. I also love a slightly dropped waist, ballroom and a-line style! I also love a sweetheart neck line with a cap sleeve, but since I am getting married in the temple, that wont really work, but that is ok with me!
I cant wait until I get married, I mean I can wait, but I am super excited still. I want to get married in the fall in the Mount Timpanogos temple. I am not sure on my colors, but I know I want a dark elegant purple. I want a simple, lace, elegant wedding dress and a handsome groom to go with it all!!!!!!!! The groom is the most important, but I like planning the other stuff. Now dont freak out, I am in no big hurry to get married, by any means. I would like to date in college, but I need some self time, so I wont be getting married for quite a while, but like every girl, I like thinking about it, so that is where this all started. Just a bunch of girls imagining the future and our special day where we can be treated and look like princesses and have all eyes on us. A day where everything is perfect and all our family is together and we get to be the happiest girls on the earth. A day where we get what we want and our prince charming is waiting on the other side of the alter waiting to be ours forever.......oh my chicken I cant wait, well I can, but you know what I mean. It just makes me all excited and giddy thinking about it, but it will happen one day! Well I better stop or I might get way too excited, so I am off..........TOOTLES!!!!!!

Day 130: FINALLY DONE!!!!

I AM FINALLY DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As of 11:42 am this morning.........I am officially done with my AP music theory exam!!!!!!!!!! I am done......I just want to dance around and scream with joy. I really have no idea how I did. I felt really good about the three compositions question, I know I failed my sight singing and I really don't know how I feel about the rest of the test, but I know that I have worked my behind end off this year and that I knew all I could have and that I did the best I did, so I guess whatever happens......happens!!!! I am just glad to be done!!!!!!!! The one down side with my test being done is that senioritis is hitting full force!!!
Besides that, today I went to my last Nordstrom's Brass Plum Fashion Board meeting and then after that I went to play for this children's opera thing. My mom's best friend, Christine, has this son named Shane who is composed this small children's opera. Well he lives on his mission in a few weeks and his mom wanted him to perform it one last time, so me and I played for that.
Then after that we went to the Pie for dinner to celebrate me being done with my test.....and neither mom or I wanted to cook and that sounded good, so we went there for dinner! Even though it has been a long day, it has been a good day, but I am so glad that it is done! Well I am off for the night.......TOOTLES!!!!!

Day 129: My Mom's

So today is mothers day and so not only to my two awesome mom's but also to my leaders, neighbors and friends........HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!!
I do like mothers day because I get to spend time with my family and celebrate two of awesome-est ladies I know.....My mom and Mel!!!!!!! What and the chicken would I do without those two?!?!?!?!?! They have both done so much for me and I am so thankful to say I have two bomb-digity mom's!!!!! Here are some pics of my two favorite mom's. Day 128: Pics and Talk

So today has been pretty good. I woke up, got ready, then ran a few errands. Then I came home and then headed off to my haircut appointment....which I was so thankful for. I love getting my haircut.....it makes me feel like a new women! Then after that I headed out to my dad's so my step mom could take my senior pictures, which turn out great!!! Mel had picked out some great spots and she took some great pictures. I even took out my dress that I made and did pictures in those because I made that dress and I will relish in that fact until the day I die! I was just so happy to have made it, that I wanted it to be in pictures cuz I thought that would be kinda cool. I don't have my pictures yet cuz Mel is going to work her picture magic and make them even better, but I will have them soon and then I will post some.
Well I just finished writing my talk for church tomorrow.....yes I know, I am a procrastinator, but hey it is done, so now that that is done I am going to head off to bed......TOOTLES!!!

Day 127: Small World

So today....kinda crappy. It must have been a hang over from yesterday which kinda stunk but by the time I got done with work it was good. Just talking to some of my guy friends just made my day better cuz I don't have to deal with girl crap and drama and stuff and what not. I got to talk to Reg quite a bit today which was nice cuz I haven't talked to him in a long time! So that was pretty much my school day.
Well here is the funny part of the day. So my little cousin Maddie wrote this little poem and it made it into this big book that the district puts together. So today at 4:30, at Heartland Elementary, she had a chance, along with other students, to read their poems to their family and friends. So I am sitting in the room listening to kids read, this guy standing in front of me turns around and guess who it is?!?!? It is my 9th grade English teacher, Mr. Brooks! He was a super awesome teacher and I was freaked out a little to go talk to him cuz he had me 4 years ago......who the crap is going to remember me 4 years later, but I went up to him and he totally remember who I was! He was like Kristen....good to see you!!! I was amazed!!! We talked for a little while and he is still the same, fun, awesome guy that I knew 4 years ago! He was a great English teacher and he was part of the reason I decided to take the honors English classes and such in high school! He was a great teacher and it was good to see him again. The funny thing was that he and my uncle actually lived in the same ward 5 or so years ago and he recognized him too. Not only that but one of my 10th grade seminary teachers was also there. WHAT A COINCIDENCE!!!!!!!
Man it truly is a small world out there. There are so many crazy connections I know of. One funny connection is one of my friends high school orchestra teacher, was my grandpa's mission companion. Connections are crazy......and also extremely useful!!!!! Well I am going to go do something ........TOOTLES!!!

Day 126: Holy Thursday

IT'S ONLY THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why is is only Thursday?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! This week just sucks and I am ready for it to be done and I still have tomorrow to get through....and it is a B day.....man that stinks!!!!
I have not been the biggest fan of today. I had to sit through English, which was once again pointless, I got assigned the LAST day and the LAST slot on that day for my English presentation, I got a project in anatomy, I had to play Cannon in D in orchestra, I attempted to flirt with cute boy today and I pretty much got no where, I had to work and my CD for my practice test only had half the stuff on it that I needed...........AHHHHHHH NO BUENO!!!!!! I really hope tomorrow is better cuz today is just not working for me. I do have sewing tomorrow which is good. If I could sew all day I would cuz I am just in that kinda mood. Well I am going to go get some dinner cuz I am hungry, then I am going to go eat pudding cuz after today...I want pudding, so there haha! Well I am off........TOOTLES!!!

Day 125: Swimming

Today has been.....good. It really needs to be Friday....I am tired and it is only Wednesdays.....I am ready for this week to be done!!!! Nothing bad has happened, I just want to be done.
Well as for today I worked on some AP theory stuff, worked on my quilt (which I love working on!!!!!!), went swimming and went to young womens.
I had to go swim for my final for my BYU Independent Study class. It felt great to swim! I haven't swam for a long time and I will feel it in the morning too, but I sure to love it! I have been swimming since I was super little and I have always loved it, however I don't like doing it for competition, I just like to swim. The nice thing about swimming is that you exercise everything. Your arms, legs, lungs, heart.....everything. The other nice thing is that you do not feel sweaty. I hate feeling sweaty, but when you swim you are already in water, so you never feel it!!!! It is all just so fantastic!!!
Well, I need to go revise my English paper so I am out.........TOOTLES!!!!

Day 124: The Best of the Best

I dont know what to talk about today. I have been listening to Michael Buble again so I am kinda digging the 20's and 40's music so I will give you a list of some of my favorite old time movie stars/singers......The best of the best!!!!!

Frank Sinatra.......What a hunk! He starred in Guys and Dolls and is an amazing singer....need I say more!?!?!?!I know everyone loves her, but Marilyn Monroe is classic! Love her acting and singing....and you know what, she was a size 12 and still made it big!!!

Donald O'Connor is great!!! He is in Singing in the Rain and a few other shows and is an amazing entertainer!
Again another classic, but how can you not love Audrey Hepburn!
Not many people know Mitzi Gaynor, but she is amazing! She has an amazing voice and she is a great actor starring in South Pacific along with many others movie!
Oh Gregory Peck.....now that is a hunk a hunk of burning love!!! He is truly the ultimate man! Tall, dark and handsome to the max! He stars in Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn! What woman wouldn't love him?!?!?!
Cary Grant.....another one to fit the tall, dark and handsome mold. He stars in Charade also with Audrey Hepburn and is genius.......and sexy and super funny!!!
Danny Kaye is the ultimate actor! He is hysterical, he can sing and he can dance! He is in White Christmas and The Court Jester and he is amazing! You can't beat Danny Kaye!
Gene Kelly....there are not even words. AMAZING!!!!!!!! So sexy and so talented so.......yeah!!!!!

Sorry....the list is a little longer than I thought it was going to be but there are so many great people that are amazing I just couldn't leave anyone out!!!! Well I am off to bed........TOOTLES!!!

Day 123: Mission Accomplished

So I feel pretty good......I made dinner all by myself.....hahahahaha!!!!!! I can cook but it isn't my favorite. I am all about the baking, but TA-DA.....I cooked dinner....WOOT WOOT!!!! Tonight on the menu was enchiladas with salad! I know it doesn't sound like much, but I am stuffed full. I have never made enchiladas before so I would say that tonight was a success!!! Nothing was burnt, cold or gross, so I say that is mission accomplished. I wasn't even planning on making dinner, but mom was doing yard work and she asked me to grate cheese and then I just finished it up. I feel pretty good and now I can add that to my "things that I can cook in college all on my own" list hahahaha! I promise I actually do cook, its not like I never do it, I just usually help mom or cook the same couple things lol!
Not much else going on today. I just finished watching Dancing With The Stars and it was a great episode tonight....everyone danced so well. There are only 6 couples left and I love all of them! Well almost all of them. The couple I like the least is Pamela and Damien, but I still like watching them too! My most favorite couple to watch is Derek and Nicole, but I LOVE Neicy and Louis! Well I am going to go do.........something.........TOOTLES!!!!!!

Day 122: Jeff's Cooking and Rehearsal

Today = not super exciting. I woke up and I went to church, where I had good lessons today, came home and watched some TV and took a nap. I have not napped like I have napped this weekend in a LONG time.......I am talking a super LONG time. I should have been studying for my AP next Monday, but I didn't, and you know what........that is ok!!!!
As for right now, I am watching Mythbusters and smelling the BBQ Chicken that Jeff is cooking out on the grill......you know it is almost summer when the BBQ-er comes out. Luckily Jeff is and excellent BBQ-er.......my dad has taught him well. It is rather funny......Jeff loves to BBQ and bake cookies.....don't ask me why, but my brother makes the most amazing home made chocolate chip cookie you have ever had!!!! I love to bake and I can bake quite well, but Jeff takes the cake with his chocolate chip cookies!
Well I am going to help finish making dinner, then I am going to head off to rehearsal. Mom and I are playing for this children's opera thing that her best friend's son composed and put together. I have never met him before, but just a little older than me and goes up to USU.....yeah he is one of those genius, graduated super early type, but I have heard that he is a cutie lol!!! Well I am off........TOOTLES!!!!

Day 121: My Senior Prom!

So yesterday's "I" day went awesome!!!!!!!! A ton more people showed up than I ever hoped! Dinner was pretty good, the speed dating activity went awesome and the dance was equally fun. Cute boy showed up too.....I didn't get to dance with him, but I did talk to him for a while so that means after Wednesday's episode he is still willing talk to me....that is good....no weirdness there!!!!! But everything went awesome!!!!!
Well today I pretty much did nothing. I woke up, cleaned my half of the house, watched America's Next Top Model, and fell asleep watching episodes of that as well. Yup fun day! I was a little bummed I couldn't go to prom since it was my last dance I could have gone to, but tonight was still way fun!!!!! Tonight Kenzie, Lauren, Cassie and I all got together at ate pizza and talked and watch Swan Princess and a few episodes of Friends!!!! It doesnt sound horribly exciting.....but it was hysterical!!!!!! None of them had really watched friends and there were a couple episodes that they had to watch so we watched a few episodes and.........THEY LOVED THEM!!!!! None of them realized how funny this show was and we laughed hysterically.
We discovered that Lauren, Kenzie, and I that we are like Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe. It was crazy we just had way too much fun tonight!!!!!! Forget fancy dresses, expensive dinner and dumb boys..........Its all about lazy clothes, cheap pizza and your best friends......that is how senior prom should be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am heading to bed........TOOTLES!!!!!
